With Zordon dying and their powers lost, the Rangers head to a distant planet to find the mystic warrior Dulcea. The galactically feared, universally despised Ivan Ooze is released from a hyperlock chamber after six millennia. The first thing on his agenda - conquer Earth. A plan which involves revenge on his imprisoner, and mentor of the Rangers, Zordon! The Rangers, stripped of their powers, must journey to a distant planet and seek the fabled Great Power - the only thing capable of saving Zordon and restoring their lost powers. It's a race against timethe rangers, using the power of Ninjetti, struggle to restore their powers, save Zordon and defeat Ivan. As we were running intruder-safety drills at my school, I noticed in my teacher had the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers movie and I remembered how I use to watch the movie until I gave it away. I remembered how much Inoticed the difference between the show, how it was filmed and what emotions they may or may not have put in in. I really enjoyed watching that movie a long time ago. It was definitely made for the kids and that is what I think the film critics missed. I mean come on! Its not supposed to be some sort of Academy award-winning movie that sets the standards for all movies. It actually had a pretty good story though some of the side-villains are made up of cheap plastics. Overall, the movie was great and the action sequences were pretty exciting for a child my age at that time. A great movie. I myself am not a fan of the power rangers but I loved the movie anyway! It has a lot of action and compells me to watch again & again Lively, colorful, violent, stupid.
