a5c7b9f00b Legion, based on the Marvel Comics by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz, is the story of David Haller (Dan Stevens), a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosedschizophrenica child, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. Now in his early 20's and free once again, David loses himself in the rhythm of the structured regimen of daily life: breakfast, lunch, dinner, therapy, medications, sleep. David spends the rest of his time in companionable silence alongside his chatterbox friend Lenny (Aubrey Plaza), a fellow patient whose life-long drug and alcohol addiction has done nothing to quell her boundless optimism that her luck is about to change. The pleasant numbness of David's routine is completely upended with the arrival of a beautiful and troubled new patient named Syd (Rachel Keller). Inexplicably drawn to one another, David and Syd share a startling encounter, after which David must confront the shocking possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees may actually be real. David Haller was diagnosed with schizophrenia at a young age and has been a patient in various psychiatric hospitals since. After Haller has an encounter with a fellow psychiatric patient, he is confronted with the possibility that there may be more to him than mental illness. This series is fake****! It started off good. The 1st episode was quite interesting with the narrative being distorted just like David's mind. Unfortunately it just got worse from there. The way that character behave is fake. More and more cheesy lines appear and some of the acting is just horrible. Look at the end of chapter 5 for example where the monster is chasing Syd and Syd obviously tries to throw the pillows towards the monster but instead throws them almost directly onto the ground.. and then she trips and she's glued to the bed for some reason unable to run away. Horrible acting.

Oh and don't even get me started on Walter "The eye" fakest character i have EVER seen! Nothing he does makes sense, i'm serious. Like in the 8th chapter when they're fighting off imaginary zombies. SOMEHOW Walter just walks right through them attacking Amber. Then when he has her in some kind of headlock, Syd retaliates by pulling Amber's arm. Effing really??? She's not gonna try and punch the guy? Nooo she chooses the 2nd worst strategy with the worst being to just literally stand there doing nothing!

And what's with the weird experimental scenes they add in sometimes? Like when they cut the audio completely and try to justify itsome kind of super power? Or in chapter 8 when the narrative is being shownsome kind of old-school cartoon storyboard thing.

I watched the last 4 episodes because I really wanted it to be a good series. But i see now that it will simply continue to waste my time. It could have been so great but instead they completely fudged it up. The best show i watched in a long time, can't wait to watch season 2 :)
